For over a decade, I worked on the frontline for an award-winning charity supporting vulnerable children and families across the Midlands. Through this work, I’ve supported schools, social workers, and community professionals to recognise the impact of early trauma and respond with compassion, awareness, and practical strategies that help children feel safe and understood.
Ten years ago, my professional world became deeply personal when I adopted my daughter. That experience reshaped everything I thought I knew about parenting, belonging, and the power of connection.
I learned firsthand how creating safe space for children involves parents, families, schools, and professional agencies working together. In particular, I understood that parents need someone to walk alongside them; not just through the paperwork and panels, but through the emotions, questions, and everyday realities that follow.
embrace was created to bridge those gaps.
